Fraser Dove International is partnering exclusively with a leading global pharmaceutical organisation committed to developing and manufacturing high-quality small-molecule drug substances. They are seeking a strategic and hands-on leader to own Quality end-to-end across a growing global drug substance platform.

Responsibilities

Lead Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Compliance, and Quality Systems functions globally
Set and implement a global Quality vision tailored to drug substance manufacturing
Act as executive sponsor for regulatory inspections and customer audits
Drive harmonisation of processes and systems while respecting site-level operational realities
Provide leadership through change, growth, and remediation initiatives
Partner with Operations, Technical, Regulatory, and Commercial leadership to ensure Quality enables business success
Support M&A integration, bringing new sites and teams into a consistent Quality framework
Develop a strong pipeline of Quality leaders, mentoring and empowering site heads and regional teams

Required

Senior-level Quality leadership experience within API, small-molecule pharma, or CDMO environments
Deep understanding of drug substance operations, from development and scale-up to commercial manufacture
Proven success leading multi-site Quality organisations through regulatory inspections and audits
Strong capability in harmonising systems across global networks, especially during expansion or acquisition
Experience managing Quality in fast-paced, technically demanding environments
Collaborative, pragmatic leadership style balancing compliance, risk, and business delivery

Preferred

Degree in a scientific discipline (Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field) preferred
