Responsibilities

Oversees Seniors and Staff in day-to-day activities of planning, tax work and wrap-up

Provides orientation, training, mentoring and supervision of seniors, staff and interns

Identifies tax risk issues and proposes solutions after research and collaboration with Engagement Partner

Leads small to medium sized engagements with finalized document requiring little change upon review

Takes responsibility for pre-engagement, planning, execution and final deliverables

Reviews tax provisions, work papers and financial statements

Completes review of tax work papers and assures audit evidence is in accordance with firm’s documentation standards

Addresses questions on advanced technical accounting matters from team and upper-level client management

Communicates with Partner on work status and issues that may arise with client

Conducts research and consults with team members, draws conclusions, and prepares memos based on issues

Provides the top review of returns, work papers and issues

Keeps up to date with industry laws and regulations

Other duties as required
