Responsibilities
Design and execute Quality Assurance test plan, including the creation of test cases
Design and execute User Acceptance test plan, where applicable
Collaborate with Automation team to develop automation strategy for repetitive and/or complex tasks
Run regressive test scenarios and evaluate results
Execute functional, system, and automation tests
Work closely with QA team to implement the automation roadmap
Troubleshoot and analyze defects found during testing cycles
Record, track, and test defects to closure
Maintain software testing documentation including, but not limited to standard test plans, test cases, and test scripts
Manage own assignments in relation to the project schedule
Analyze defined requirements for testability
Performs related duties as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
B.S. or B.A. or other related 4-year technical degree required
5+ years Quality Assurance experience
Experience with software development processes including Agile/Lean methodologies, and DevOps concepts, particularly in a CI/CD environment
Experience testing Mortgage / Financial applications
Experience with Continuous Integration methodologies
Knowledge of Mortgage / Financial applications
Familiarity with defect tracking applications (i.e.. Jira)
Ability to quickly learn new systems
Ability to work effectively under pressure and within deadlines
Troubleshooting and analytical skills
Preferred
Knowledge of Automation frameworks (i.e., Selenium, Azure DevOps preferred)
Familiarity with at least one web test automation framework (Selenium, Azure DevOps preferred)
