Responsibilities

Lead technical accounting research and prepare formal documentation for complex transactions, including ASC 606, software capitalization, leases, M&A, impairments, restructurings, derivatives, and other US GAAP matters
Serve as the primary subject matter expert for revenue recognition, including contract reviews and policy enforcement
Review customer, vendor, and partner contracts to determine and document appropriate accounting treatment
Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Collaborate with Sales, Legal, FP&A, Product/R&D, HR, and other teams to ensure compliant transaction structuring
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes by resolving technical accounting issues
Prepare consolidated financial statements and disclosures in accordance with US GAAP
Act as the primary liaison to external auditors and manage audit-related accounting matter
Monitor new accounting standards and assess their impact on the business
Train accounting and non-accounting teams on technical accounting topics and policy change
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts in partnership with FP&A
