Responsibilities

Responsible for manages daily billing operations, including insurance verification, claim submissions, payment posting, and accounts receivable follow-up

The Director serves as the department’s subject-matter expert for all billing and collections processes

Responsible for ensuring all billing is completed accurately, timely, and in full compliance with payer, state, and federal regulations

Oversee provider credentialing and ensures alignment with payer requirements

Building and maintaining effective relationships with providers and insurance carriers to resolve billing issues quickly

Responsible for leading the billing team by providing training, managing workloads, and supporting problem resolution

The Director ensures business office managers receive proper training and follow established organizational policies and procedures
