The role focuses on improving scalability, reliability, and performance while adding features based on customer requirements.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Java-based applications with a focus on test automation
Implement and manage microservices architecture, including containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
Utilize testing tools and suites such as Cucumber/BDD Implementation and API Automation
Collaborate with team members to enhance the software platform's scalability, reliability, and performance
Analyze system-level problems and provide innovative solutions
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java programming and test automation
Strong understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes)
Experience with testing tools/suites such as Cucumber/BDD Implementation and API Automation
High School Diploma or Equivalency required; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and innovative with a nimble learning approach
Analytical and system-level problem-solving skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Prior experience in a regulated industry or working on large-scale projects
