Senior Staff Data Center Engineer, Mechanical Engineering

Responsibilities
Define data center system-level, product architecture, and Research and Development, while helping to develop operations and maintenance procedures for systems/processes
Conduct engineering analysis and research designs and methods of data center equipment and facilities
Ensure designs and installations meet requirements (e.g., predicted cooling, structural, operational concerns, etc.)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
12 years of experience in data center power management
12 years of experience in data center rack design
12 years of experience with liquid cooling
Preferred
Master's degree in Engineering, Business or other relevant field or a professional engineering license
Experience in designing modular building scale assemblies, with an understanding of mechanical tolerances and tolerance analysis
Experience in estimating, mechanical design, operation, and commissioning of mission critical data center mechanical equipment
Knowledge of mechanical engineering and design principles with specific expertise in the areas of design for medium-scale production, structural beams/elements, and international building codes
