Responsibilities

Leads estimates and is responsible for overall cost forecasting for prospective projects

Performing take-offs on screen from drawings and conducting site visits to understand the constructability of projects

Work with preconstruction leadership and project team create a project estimate plan

Collaborate with end user clients, GC partners and outside design teams when applicable to gather information on estimates and prepare deliverables as required

Ability to conceptually estimate projects based on using historical information and limited design information

Understanding plans and specifications to identify the types and grades of materials and equipment needed and to ensure compliance with project requirements

Submit RFI’s as needed and identify constructability concerns in the estimate package

Responsible for ensuring accurate proposal estimates for Design Build and Design Assist proposals

Understanding plans and specifications to identify the types and grades of materials and equipment needed and to ensure compliance with project requirements

Preparing bid packages and obtaining pricing from subcontractors and vendors

Finalize bid estimates and submit to clients

Perform other related duties as required
