Responsibilities
Act as a critical advisor to experienced managers and AVPs
You will 'sense-check' Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), provide guidance on performance scrutiny, and coach managers on how to lead these conversations effectively
Serve as the primary HR face for our Dallas employees and the initial filter for queries across CA and NY
You’ll leverage our Shared Services team for admin support while you focus on high-judgment advisory
Act as the first-level filter for ER matters
You will provide general advice and identify complex cases that require escalation to our Senior HRBPs
Lead the onboarding journey for new joiners, ensuring they are integrated into the Third Bridge culture from day one
Support the transition to a self-service offboarding model, providing guidance to managers and employees as they navigate the process
Qualification
Required
HR professional with some Generalist experience, or a Senior Associate ready to step up
Proven track record of working independently in a satellite office
Deep understanding of the PIP process
Judgment to review documents and prepare managers for successful delivery
Strong foundational knowledge of California employment law
Understanding of the nuances between Texas and West/East Coast regulations
Emotional intelligence to challenge managers constructively
Judgment to know when to escalate a situation
Comfortable working autonomously while staying tightly integrated with a global team
