NDT Inspector II (R&C) - 1st Shift

Responsibilities
Set up and calibrate non-destructing testing equipment in accordance with the industry requirements
Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
Organize and report test results
May train others as needed
Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
Experience with FPI method
Previous experience adhering to quality inspections
Ability to stand, walk, sit, lift, carry, push, pull, reach and handle
Visual acuity and color vision
Ability to move, carry, lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work extended hours and stand for extended periods of time
Preferred
Some college preferred
ASNT NDT Certification or equivalent certifiable training with documented classroom and/or OJT experience
Demonstrated ability to perform assigned NDT inspections, accurately interpret results, and apply strong mechanical aptitude
Communicates clearly and effectively in verbal and written form; conducts themselves professionally and remains open to others' ideas and feedback
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, promotes quality standards, provides feedback, and actively seeks opportunities for continuous improvement
Able to absorb and process information quickly, prioritize and plan work activities, adapt to changing schedules, and adjust to a dynamic work environment
Comfortable working in hot and cold climates and in or around industrial environments and potential hazards while adhering to company policies, procedures, and organizational values
