Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software
Process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Prepare and process payroll for employees on a bi-weekly basis
Review and reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Prepare and file payroll tax returns and other related tax forms
Communicate with vendors and employees regarding payment and payroll inquiries
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues in financial records
Support the accounting team with other tasks and projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 1 year of experience in bookkeeping and payroll
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of payroll and tax regulations
Preferred
Experience with budgeting and forecasting is a plus
