Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of Manufacturing Engineers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
Oversee engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
Using Lean methodologies, identify opportunities for efficiency and reliability improvements in equipment and processes, and potential projects
Work closely with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to support production goals through implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
Ownership of technical guidance and problem-solving support for complex engineering issues
Work with Operations to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, regulatory requirements, and company policies
Partners with management, production, and Product Management to determine engineering feasibility, manufacturability, cost effectiveness, and customer demand for new and existing products
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align engineering activities with business objectives
Manage departmental budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize resource utilization
Ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or safety
Maintain accurate engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports
Consistently operate in a manner that aligns to the Company Core Values

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering
Well-developed project management skills
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with ability to connect and communicate with different audiences
Well-developed leadership skills: ability to influence, develop, and motivate others
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams

Preferred

Master's degree
Foodservice equipment industry and experience
