Responsibilities
Work with internal and external resources to fabricate and assemble hardware
Configure, refine, and maintain electronic production management system
Identify opportunities and implement changes to streamline processes
Recommend appropriate fabrication methods for specified requirements and production quantities
Estimate and manage cost and schedule for fabrication activities and communicate status to project leaders
Optimize fabrication schedules while considering technical risk and overall timeline
Work closely with quality assurance to ensure all project requirements are met and documented appropriately
Provide input during the design phase to improve manufacturability and ensure requirements are met
Provide input regarding the need for additional resources
Qualification
Required
Production management knowledge
Manufacturing engineering knowledge
Quality assurance knowledge
Ability to work with internal and external resources to fabricate and assemble hardware
Experience in configuring, refining, and maintaining electronic production management systems
Ability to identify opportunities and implement changes to streamline processes
Ability to recommend appropriate fabrication methods for specified requirements and production quantities
Experience in estimating and managing cost and schedule for fabrication activities
Ability to communicate status to project leaders
Ability to optimize fabrication schedules while considering technical risk and overall timeline
Experience working closely with quality assurance to ensure all project requirements are met and documented appropriately
Ability to provide input during the design phase to improve manufacturability and ensure requirements are met
Ability to provide input regarding the need for additional resources
