Responsibilities
Act as the BI thought leader for the business, bridging the gap between operational teams, IT, and executive leadership
Partner closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Operations leaders to define meaningful KPIs and reporting needs
Support C-suite reporting, turning complex data into clear, executive-level insights and narratives
Help shape the BI roadmap and data strategy, aligned with business priorities and transformation initiatives
Lead the design, development, and governance of Power BI solutions across the organization
Establish best practices for data models, semantic layers, dashboards, and self-service BI
Drive adoption by coaching and enabling business users to effectively use Power BI
Translate business questions into intuitive dashboards and actionable insights
Design and maintain a robust analytics architecture leveraging Dynamics 365 F&O data
Develop deep understanding of SCM data domains: inventory, procurement, production, warehousing, demand planning, logistics
Ensure data consistency, reliability, and scalability across reporting solutions
Work with IT and partners on data pipelines, integrations, and performance optimization
Serve as a trusted advisor during BI and data-related initiatives
Drive continuous improvement in how data is used to manage operations and performance
Champion a data-driven culture across a business new to modern BI tools
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in BI, data architecture, or analytics leadership roles
Deep functional understanding of Supply Chain Management (SCM) in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, semantic models, governance)
Hands-on experience working with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, particularly SCM modules
Proven ability to work directly with senior business stakeholders and executives
Strong ability to translate business needs into technical BI solutions
Comfortable educating and enabling non-technical users
Executive-level communication and storytelling with data
Pragmatic, business-first mindset (not overly technical or finance-driven)
Preferred
Experience with Azure Data Platform (Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks)
Experience designing enterprise KPI frameworks for operations and supply chain
Background in organizations early in their Power BI or ERP maturity journey
Exposure to data governance, master data, or analytics operating models
