They are seeking a full-time, tenure-track faculty member at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in Public Health and Health Science, responsible for teaching, scholarship, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

Teach under graduate and/ or graduate courses in Public Health and Health Sciences

Maintain an active program of scholarship

Engage in student advising and mentoring

Contribute to curriculum development, program assessment, and accreditation processes

Participate in service at the department, school, university, community and professional levels

Required

An earned doctorate (Ph.D., Dr.P.H. ,or related terminal degree coupled with experience) in Public Health from an accredited institution

Demonstrated excellence in teaching and student engagement at the undergraduate and/or graduate level

Evidence of scholarly, extramural grants or professional accomplishments is appropriate to rank

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred

Post-doctoral experiences

Record of external grant funding and/ or a sustained program of research appropriate to rank (required for Associate or Full Professor consideration)

Demonstrated excellence in teaching, mentoring, and curriculum innovation

Experience or leadership in program administration, interprofessional education and collaborative practice (required for Associate or Full Professor consideration)

Engagement in community-based public health initiatives, particularly those addressing health disparities

Experience or demonstrated interest in rural health practice, education, or research

CHES /MCHES/ CPH or eligible
