Responsibilities
Design and develop accessible, responsive, and visually appealing user interfaces using Drupal and WordPress websites to ensure usability on all devices and improve user engagement
Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Keep websites and plugins up-to-date and secure while delivering clients’ website specifications
Monitor and maintain security best practices and performance standards
Collaborate with the lead and senior developers, designers, project managers, and coordinators to gather requirements and suggest solutions
Work with the support team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues
Test to ensure security, stability, and performance
Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA standards
Keep up to date with UI/UX trends, platform updates, and security practices, then incorporate them into your development workflows
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, graphic design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
5+ years of experience with Drupal and WordPress
Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and templating languages (Twig for Drupal and PHP for WordPress)
Knowledge of CMS architecture, including custom content types, taxonomies, and menus
Understanding responsive design and accessibility standards
Proficiency in debugging and patching code, UI/UX design, and following best practices
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proven ability to learn rapidly and utilize new knowledge efficiently
