Responsibilities
Perform to the physical and safety standard requirements of the position
Learn to safely and effectively operate a variety of tools and equipment such as power tools and other departmental equipment to assist with basic carpentry, electrical, mechanical, air conditioning, plumbing and/or other repairs and maintenance
Within NSB Health Facilities and NSB Itinerate Quarters, respect clients and/or tenants by recognizing their rights and maintaining confidentiality, including HIPPA requirements
May be required to work a non-traditional work schedule to include evening, holidays, and weekends and may be subject to 24 hour on-call status
Perform janitorial duties on the grounds and in the facility
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school Graduate or G.E.D/or, a combination of 12 years of education and work-related experience
Documentation that the individual is free from active pulmonary tuberculosis
Knowledge of North Slope Borough organization, operations, policies and procedures
Perform to the physical and safety standard requirements of the position
Learn to safely and effectively operate a variety of tools and equipment such as power tools and other departmental equipment to assist with basic carpentry, electrical, mechanical, air conditioning, plumbing and/or other repairs and maintenance
Respect clients and/or tenants by recognizing their rights and maintaining confidentiality, including HIPPA requirements
