Research Intern
JUST Capital is a nonprofit organization focused on improving corporate performance in the stakeholder economy. The Research Intern will support the research team by collecting data, analyzing corporate behaviors, and contributing to published research content.

Responsibilities
Collecting data from publicly available sources on specific topics related to just corporate behaviors and activities for 1,000 companies
Building a repository for company best practices and issues identified over the course of the internship
Analyzing the data collected over the course of the internship and presenting key findings back to the team
Writing or drafting research content that may be published on our website on a topic related to just corporate behaviors and activities
Qualification
Required
Candidates must have a passion for making corporate behavior more just
Candidates should have an interest in pursuing data-oriented research in corporate sustainability
Candidates must live in the NYC metro area and be able to commute in person up to four days per week, ideally Monday through Thursday
Have a bachelors or masters degree in business, statistics, or finance
Strong research, data collection, and data analysis skills and an aptitude for following methodologies and protocols
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in general computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, and Word, and Powerpoint) and Google Suite (Google Sheets and Google Docs)
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Effective time management skills, reliability, and ability to multitask
Eagerness to learn and willingness to ask for help
Candidates must be available for remote work during regular business hours, 9am- 5:30pm EST
Applicants must have proof of eligibility to work in the U.S
Those hired will need to use their own laptops or computers
