Responsibilities
Supporting trial preparation and litigation logistics
Managing e-filing in state and federal courts
Preparing, updating, and maintaining Tables of Authorities and other legal documents
Conducting legal research using Westlaw and LexisNexis
Supporting e-discovery efforts and working within PLF’s e-discovery platform
Drafting, formatting, and organizing documents using Microsoft Word (heavy use)
Taking ownership of assigned tasks and seeing them through independently
Traveling occasionally, as needed, on a case-by-case basis (approximately 5–10%)
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience as a paralegal or in a litigation support role
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
Comfortable working independently without constant oversight
Take pride in accuracy, ethics, and professionalism
Adapt easily to new tools, systems, and workflows
Comfortable supporting multiple attorneys and managing competing priorities
Energized by supporting mission-driven litigation that defends individual liberty
Supporting trial preparation and litigation logistics
Managing e-filing in state and federal courts
