Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for DB2 mainframe software
Support the creation and execution of detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
Assist with functional, regression, integration, and system testing activities
Work with senior QA team members to identify defects, analyze issues, and validate fixes
Participate in requirements reviews to ensure testability and proper coverage
Document test results, log defects, and track issues through resolution using established QA tools
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA leadership to drive product quality improvements
Contribute to process enhancements and automation initiatives within the QA team
Apply company standards, best practices, and professional concepts to support problem-solving and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Foundational knowledge of the product domain
Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
Knowledge of Quality Assurance processes
Experience in developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts for DB2 mainframe software
Ability to support the creation and execution of detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
Experience with functional, regression, integration, and system testing activities
Ability to work with senior QA team members to identify defects, analyze issues, and validate fixes
Participation in requirements reviews to ensure testability and proper coverage
Experience in documenting test results, logging defects, and tracking issues through resolution using established QA tools
