Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) is a non-profit environmental advocacy organization. They are seeking undergraduate interns who can commit to working full-time for up to 10 weeks in Summer 2026 to support various program areas and gain valuable experience in the environmental movement.

Responsibilities

Research, data collection, and analysis

Writing and developing materials for state and federal campaigns

Designing equitable policy solutions

Copywriting and editing social media posts and supporting on marketing campaigns

Brainstorming opportunities for process improvements, new vendors, partnerships, and engagement

Project management of department and team-wide initiatives

Required

Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program

Interest in a wide range of environmental and social justice issues

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Creative and resourceful

Able to work independently and collaboratively, including working with people with different social identities than their own (including race, gender, sexual identity or orientation, age, socioeconomic status, and disability)
