Responsibilities
Researching, testing, and threat-hunting to identify new vulnerabilities and attack vectors
Enhancing detection platforms with monitoring for anomalous behaviour, indicators of compromise, and configuration drift
Designing, building, and securing new systems, technologies, and platforms across the enterprise
Influencing and shaping security architectures, standards, and best practices
Analysing security events, managing incidents, and automating response workflows to improve speed and reliability
Qualification
Required
A strong passion for automation and continuous improvement, with evidence of high-impact automation delivery
Broad, credible technical knowledge across the full technology stack
A proactive self-starter who learns quickly and enjoys solving complex problems
Confidence to challenge the status quo and propose better, more scalable solutions
A collaborative, pragmatic mindset with the ability to influence across teams and geographies
The ability to clearly explain why security controls matter, not just how they work
Expert-level scripting/coding in one or more of: Python, Ruby, PowerShell, C#, Java, Go (or equivalent)
Deep understanding of security risks across OS, networks, and applications
Experience integrating and tuning security tooling across the development lifecycle and cloud-native environments
Hands-on experience securing infrastructure at scale using configuration management, compliance, and policy-as-code tooling
Experience with security detection and response platforms (SIEM, XDR, SOAR) from a blue-team perspective
Preferred
Relevant certifications (e.g. OSCP, OSWE, OSCE) are desirable but not essential
