Entry, Mid LevelAD Energy Recruitment is supporting a rapidly growing Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) owner-operator and project developer as they continue to expand their field operations team across the United States. The Field Technician will ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of RNG facilities, supporting plant performance and troubleshooting issues across multiple sites.

Responsibilities
Carry out on-site maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting at RNG and biogas facilities
Support commissioning, start-up, and ramp-up of new RNG plants
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues
Work with compressors, blowers, pumps, valves, digesters, upgrading systems, and gas handling equipment
Interface with SCADA / PLC systems for diagnostics and fault finding
Coordinate with plant operators, engineers, and third-party contractors
Complete service reports, maintenance logs, and site documentation
Ensure compliance with HSE, OSHA, and site safety standards
Travel to operational assets across the United States as required
Qualification
Required
Technical experience within RNG, biogas, landfill gas, oil & gas, wastewater, power generation, or industrial process facilities
Strong mechanical and/or electrical background (instrumentation experience is a plus)
Previous experience in field service, plant maintenance, commissioning, or operations support
Familiarity with rotating equipment, process piping, gas systems, and control systems
Comfortable working independently in the field and supporting multiple sites
