CLINICAL MANAGER
Montefiore Einstein Technology is committed to helping individuals in recovery through its Division of Services for Addiction. The Clinical Manager will coordinate and assist in the management of an Intensive Outpatient treatment program and a large Opioid Treatment Program, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and overseeing staff performance.

Responsibilities
Participate in development, implementation and enforcement of clinical policies, protocols and programs for Next Steps and Vocational Staff
Develop systems for maintaining timeliness and quality of documentation
Oversee the review of all admission paperwork, all active charts on a quarterly basis and all discharged charts upon termination
Establish and implement utilization review and quality improvement plan that review appropriate admissions, retention and discharge criteria is met and services reflect treatment needs
Consult with administrative and executive staff as needed to ensure counseling and vocational staff’s compliance with all regulatory requirements
Hire, supervise, evaluate, and train counseling staff and vocational related internships
Observe counselor and vocational staff performance in groups and evaluation sessions to assure that they are conducted using best practices and in a manner that is compliant with all federal, state regulations
Determine productivity goals for vocational services and track staff progress
Define, develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive range of vocational services and training plans that follow funding agency's expectations
Develop and maintain liaisons with hospitals, behavioral health, and other community agencies to develop recruitment strategies. Coordinate linkage projects with HRA and welfare reform initiatives in New York State, including the Substance Abuse Tracking and Reporting System (STARS). Oversee activities such as vocational/educational fairs and groups
Develop, systems to collect, monitor and report required data to OASAS. Evaluate and maintain databases with relevant vocational information and staff activities
Participate in clinic case conferences as needed regarding vocational, educational, and employment issues. Assist in training of NS and MMTP clinical staff
Coordinate vocational services between Montefiore Wellness Centers and Montefiore Substance Abuse Treatment Programs aligning policies and practices; provide direct training and supervision to vocational staff across sites
Qualification
Required
Must be a Qualified Health Professional (QHP)
Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related field required
Experience in training and supervising staff required
Must possess good interpersonal, communication and group facilitation skills, be creative and able to work well in a collaborative team environment, ability to communicate orally and in writing
Must be highly organized and able to work well independently
Must have experience with databases, including Excel
Preferred
CASAC preferred
Spanish speaking preferred
Knowledge of addiction treatment, preferred experience working with marginalized populations
