Responsibilities

Manage a substantial caseload of family law matters from client intake through final resolution
Conduct legal research, draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements
Represent clients in court hearings, trials, mediations, and depositions
Provide compassionate, strategic counsel and maintain consistent communication with clients
Collaborate with colleagues and mentor junior attorneys to ensure high-quality advocacy and client service

Required

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in Virginia (required)
5–8 years of family law experience, including significant litigation and trial work

Ability to develop case strategies and deliver results-oriented, client-centered advocacy
Demonstrated leadership ability and an interest in mentoring junior attorneys
