Responsibilities

Accountable for ensuring that product testing is performed per the PQCT for specific bag type (i.e. Dairy, Barrier)
Perform product testing as needed to ensure on-going quality
Accountable for comprehending specifications and PQCT
Ensure that quality product standards are upheld and that any suspect product is identified, held, and handled in accordance to established practices and communicating status to Shift Supervisor
Ensure appropriate adjustments are made by Operator
Verify correct raw materials are used per bag specifications
Relieve inspectors/packers for breaks
Participate in investigations and corrective actions for quality issues or customer complaints
Aid in product retesting/re-inspection on Holds and Returns
Complete all documentation completely and accurately
Assist in the training of other personnel in the quality department
Other responsibilities and projects as assigned

Qualification

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
