Facilitator II - Assignment Based (Part Time) (On-Call)
The University of Arizona is seeking a part-time/on-call Facilitator for its Department of Management Information Systems to support faculty teaching online courses. The role involves assisting instructors with grading, monitoring student participation, and providing virtual office hours.

Responsibilities
Timely reviewing and grading of assignments (including providing feedback to students)
Monitoring student participation and managing violations
Alerting the instructor to possible plagiarism, copying or other academic integrity violations that were detected while grading
Entering grades into the D2L course LMS
Monitoring discussion boards and responding to student comments
Responding to student inquiries and/or using the UA's LMS (D2L)
Holding regularly scheduled office hours in a virtual environment
Qualification
Required
Master's degree or higher in MIS or related field
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
Preferred
Intermediate- or advanced-level Excel user
Any background in math, optimization, and simulation, e.g., an industrial engineering degree, would be a plus (but not necessarily required)
Experience teaching and/or facilitating college level courses
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Operations Management experience
