The Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety (IBHS) is seeking interns to join their team this summer. The purpose of the internship is to build a quality-verified image library for FORTIFIED documentation, which will enhance training and improve quality assurance through AI.

Responsibilities

Build a complete, clean, quality-verified image library showing exactly how each FORTIFIED documentation checkpoint should be captured in the field

Gather, organize, and categorize representative samples of documentation photos from FORTIFIED submissions, Auditor archives, Training materials, Field teams, Providers

Standardize these photos by sorting and organizing all the photos into clear categories for each phase using the FORTIFIED Documentation Checklist

Prepare a dataset optimized for future AI training, ensuring IBHS can automate detection of complete vs. incomplete submissions

Create a structured photo library (tagged, indexed, deduped, and quality-checked)

Develop checklist-aligned galleries showing correct documentation and incorrect examples (where appropriate and anonymized)

Document metadata spreadsheet

Arrange AI-ready dataset by use case (classification, detection, quality scoring)
