IT Systems & Support Analyst
North Carolina Ports is committed to enhancing the economy of North Carolina by supporting its logistics network. The IT Systems and Support Analyst will provide broad hardware and software support to optimize operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, including troubleshooting IT problems and managing user access for applications.

Responsibilities
Troubleshoots common IT problems and provides support for endpoints (desktops, laptops, tablets, etc.)
Responsible for IT inventory and asset management
Receives and responds to end user requests for application systems problems via the Helpdesk System (Zendesk)
Manages user access roles and permissions for supported applications
Coordinates with vendors, end users, and technical support staff to maintain and ensure proper vendor support for applications within service level agreements
Provides technical support for communications and hand-held devices
Maintains and troubleshoots cameras located throughout the NC Ports facilities
Responsible for writing and updating user guides, support guides, and other technical documentation
Assists other staff members and management and recommends technical solutions as required
Performs ad-hoc analysis of application data as requested by authorized application users or IT Management
Performs business, systems, and technical analysis of proposed and/or implemented software applications, databases, data entry, and reports for internal and external customers
Advises on the processes and procedures utilized by existing organizations, applications, and related technologies
Review, tests, and coordinates deployment of software application upgrades
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining high customer service standards
All other duties as assigned by management
Qualification
Required

Preferred
Related bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant education and experience
Proficient with O365 (SharePoint and Outlook)
CompTIA A+ Certification or equivalent experience is preferred
Program certifications such as: VM, Cisco, and/or Microsoft Windows are preferred
Experience with Navis N4 is highly desirable
Familiarity with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
Possesses a working knowledge of common information technologies and systems
Familiar with PC and Server networking
Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities (data analysis, troubleshooting, etc.)
Possesses excellent written and oral communication with the ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required
Highly self-motivated and self-directed with a keen attention to detail and the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with internal and external users
Must have a valid driver's license and meet TWIC security requirements
