The CAD Drafter Intern will support the engineering and design team by assisting with basic drawing production and revisions while gaining hands-on experience with engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

Produce basic 2D drawings and redlines under supervision

Assist with revisions and updates to existing CAD drawings

Follow established company and industry CAD standards

Support the organization of drawing sets and sheet layouts

Maintain CAD files in accordance with internal document control practices

Collaborate with engineering and design team members to translate concepts into drawings

Update/maintain digital database, i.e. Autodesk vault, cloud server, hard-copies and engineering documents

Ensure accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail in all assigned drafting work

Required

Currently pursuing an Associate's Degree in Design Drafting and Design Technology, Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD), Engineering Technology, or other related degrees

Basic mathematical skills

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking, and willingness to learn

Preferred

Familiarity with 3D modeling software, with Autodesk Inventor experience preferred
