Responsibilities

Develop and execute the comprehensive US market growth strategy
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and client relationships with leading semiconductor companies, fabs, and R&D centers
Manage the entire complex sales cycle, from initial contact and technical presentation to negotiation, contract closure, and initial project onboarding

Required

Minimum of 5 years of successful, quota-carrying sales or business development experience in the semiconductor industry
A proven track record of selling high-value, complex technical products or services (e.g., capital equipment, IP, foundry services) is required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical field is mandatory
Candidates must possess enough technical depth to understand customer designs and our process capabilities
Solid understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes, chip design, and the competitive landscape for compound semiconductors (i.e. GaAs, GaN, InP, GaInP)
Familiarity with the fabless semiconductor business model is crucial
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Demonstrated ability to develop strategic account plans, manage long sales cycles, and close deals
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently in a remote setting while managing multiple priorities
Must reside in and be legally authorized to work in the United States
Willingness and ability to travel approximately 30-50% domestically and occasionally internationally

Preferred

Advanced degree (Master's, Ph.D.) in a relevant technical field
Existing network of contacts within the North American Optoelectronics, RF semiconductor and wireless communications industry
Prior experience working for or with a semiconductor foundry
Experience in a startup or high-growth technology company environment
