Senior Manager, Technology Operations - Cross Border
Walmart Canada is seeking a Senior Manager for Technology Operations in their Cross Border team. This role involves leading selection strategy and operational execution to expand Walmart’s cross border programs, requiring strong analytical skills and industry expertise in eCommerce.

Responsibilities
Drive selection analysis for international markets to identify high-demand products Walmart does not currently offer
Differentiate head inventory (high-selling items) from tail inventory unique to each country
Use industry research, analyst reports, and market data to understand buying patterns across countries
Perform gap analysis between Walmart’s assortment and market demand using advanced data tools
Use data and insights to prioritize selection opportunities, measure impact, and inform roadmap decisions
Build dashboards and reports in Excel and Tableau to track performance and opportunities
Collaborate with Business Development teams to onboard sellers and close assortment gaps
Managing a team as programs scale
Define and drive a multi-year business strategy to expand global marketplace selection aligned to customer needs and company priorities
Influence cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership to align on strategy, trade-offs, and execution plans
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related field
7+ years of experience in eCommerce operations, with at least 2 years in cross-border or international eCommerce
Proven ability to analyze large datasets and develop actionable insights
Strategic thinking and ability to translate data insights into actionable plans
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel and Tableau
Experience in eCommerce operations and familiarity with global marketplaces
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience with global assortment planning and inventory optimization
Knowledge of international logistics, fulfillment, and export compliance
Familiarity with industry research and market trend analysis
