Responsibilities
Supervise the signal design team
Help grow the traffic signal design/ITS practice at SLR
Manage various traffic engineering and signal design projects
Provide senior oversight on projects and serve as a technical resource
Business development with public and private sector clients
Prepare contract documents, including plans, specifications, and estimates
Perform quality review of design plans and contract documents
Participate in meetings with clients and project team members
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
Minimum 15 years' experience in the field of Transportation Engineering
Project management experience
Business development experience
Preferred
Licensed Professional Engineer (CT preferred or ability to get reciprocity)
Experience on DOT projects in the region
