Senior Data Engineer (FABRIC)

Robert Half is partnering with a well-established, people-first organization in the real estate and construction industry to add a Senior Data Engineer to their growing data and analytics team. This role involves designing, developing, and managing enterprise-level data solutions that support analytics and reporting initiatives, as well as building and maintaining Microsoft Fabric solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and manage enterprise-level data solutions that support analytics and reporting initiatives
Build and maintain Microsoft Fabric solutions, including Lakehouse architecture, data modeling, and database design
Develop and optimize ETL pipelines using SQL, SSIS, and cloud-based integration tools
Partner closely with IT and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions
Create and support Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations used by leadership and business teams
Ensure reliability, performance, and long-term success of the data analytics platform

Qualification

Microsoft FabricAdvanced SQLETL experienceAzure data environmentPower BIPythonData governanceMuleSoft experienceCommunication

Required

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (including Lakehouse architecture)
Advanced SQL skills with experience in data modeling and database design
Deep ETL experience, including SSIS and data integration best practices
Azure data environment experience, including MS SQL and Fabric
8+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Preferred

Power BI experience (3+ years strongly preferred)
Python experience
Data governance exposure
Experience with MuleSoft / Anypoint Platform or other middleware tools
