Responsibilities
Lead the monthly close process, including ownership of complex accounting areas
Manage company expenses and third-party payment processes
Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Conduct financial system implementations, integrations, and process improvements
Perform monthly flux and variance analysis to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders
Partner with Strategic Finance to analyze actual results and assess impacts on future performance
Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the organization
Support technical accounting matters, including stock-based compensation, ASC 842, and tax-related requests as needed
Assist with external audits by preparing timely and accurate PBC requests and supporting schedules
Respond to ad hoc financial requests and design scalable processes to support evolving business needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3+ years of experience in public accounting and/or an in-house accounting role
Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Solid understanding of how financial statements interrelate
High degree of integrity with demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and project management skills
Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with business partners
Preferred
CPA preferred
Growth-stage company experience strongly preferred
Experience with NetSuite preferred
