Associate Director of Development, School of Engineering
The University of New Mexico Foundation is seeking a talented professional to provide direct fund-raising, alumni relations, and event management services for the UNM School of Engineering. The role involves managing alumni engagement and fundraising events, leading the creation of solicitation materials, and participating in the planning and evaluation of fundraising projects.

Responsibilities
Provide direct fund-raising, alumni relations, and event management services for the UNM School of Engineering
Manage alumni engagement and fundraising events and activities for the School
Lead the creation of annual giving solicitation and stewardship materials for the School
Participate in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of fund-raising projects and programs to meet established development goals, strategies, and objectives
Qualification
Required
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community
Ability to foster effective working relationships within a team environment
Planning and implementing long- and short-range development initiatives to meet established priorities
Database and records management skills
Working knowledge of a variety of fund-raising strategies and methods
Proficient in the use of personal computers and software applications
Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution; OR a combination of some higher education and more than one year of relevant experience
At least one year of successful fundraising and development experience, preferably in higher education
