Estate Administration Paralegal

Responsibilities
Preparation of probate petitions and ancillary documents
Assist with collection and retitling of assets
Prepare beneficiary designation forms for life insurance, retirement benefits, annuity contracts
Assist with sale and transfer of assets
Prepare correspondence to beneficiaries and creditors
Preparation of federal and state estate tax returns
Prepare fiduciary accountings
Preparation of Receipts and Releases in connection with distributions from an estate or trust and the termination of an estate or trust
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a law firm setting
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, HotDocs software program; estate tax and fiduciary accounting programs
Preferred
Paralegal certificate
