The Quality Technician is responsible for in-process inspection and testing quality verification, ensuring all QA test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.

Responsibilities

Understand and use quality assurance specifications, standard test procedures, blueprints/drawings, and other engineering specification

Perform incoming inspections of materials and components

Perform in-process quality control inspections and document results of tests/inspections

Identify, segregate and label non-conforming product. Notify management of non-conforming product

Maintain quality records as per documented procedures, including test data and retained samples. Communicate inspection findings with appropriate Quality, Production and Engineering personnel

Assemble job books for production

Perform quality inspections

Required

Possess a strong attention to detail and can accurately maintain records and files

Dependable individual with strong work ethic and can work independently

Self-motivated team player with strong communication skills and interpersonal skills

High School Diploma of GED

Keen attention to detail with good organization and communication skills

Physical demands: bending, carrying, crouching, reaching, pulling, pushing, and walking. Frequent keyboarding

Preferred

2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Prior experience with SQF certification preferred

Prior experience utilizing testing equipment preferred

Prior experience utilizing /reading measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.)

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
