Responsibilities

Build a monetization roadmap for Meta and TikTok grounded in each platform’s creative norms, ad products, algorithms, buying behaviors, and monetization levers
Define native creative formats, packages, and sales motions that unlock incremental revenue for creators
Craft our external social narrative: how we position social as a growth engine and why our formats work uniquely well on Meta/TikTok
Own revenue, CPM, and margin performance across all social surfaces
Diagnose performance issues, including algorithm shifts, inventory gaps, creative problems, delivery bottlenecks, and turn them into actionable fixes
Track how top creators and publishers monetize across organic + paid, forecasting trends and identifying the next formats and surfaces we should bet on
Serve as our primary counterpart to Meta and TikTok teams, influencing product roadmaps, securing early access, negotiating preferred rates, and escalating delivery issues
Build relationships with additional services (Prime Video, YouTube, Spotify, etc.) to stay ahead of new creator monetization opportunities
Be the in-house expert on how social campaigns actually deliver, including creative fit, algorithm behavior, impression buying, boosting, audience targeting, and measurement
Build clear playbooks and best practices that improve delivery, engagement, and overall monetization efficiency
Audit the entire social monetization workflow end-to-end
Build scalable processes with internal teams and creators that remove friction, reduce turnaround times, and enable higher throughput
