Entry-Level DevOps Engineer
Apt is seeking a motivated and curious Entry-Level DevOps Engineer to help manage and grow their container orchestration platform. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with Kubernetes clusters and CI/CD pipelines while supporting critical systems in a secure environment.

Responsibilities
Support the deployment, configuration, and management of Kubernetes clusters and related infrastructure
Assist in maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows for application delivery
Troubleshoot containerized workloads and infrastructure issues to ensure high availability and performance
Collaborate with team members to develop, test, and document infrastructure components and procedures
Learn and apply best practices in system reliability, monitoring, and security within an air-gapped environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
Foundational understanding of Linux administration and command-line operations
Basic knowledge of containers (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration concepts
Familiarity with core infrastructure concepts such as network routing, authentication (authN), and authorization (authZ)
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Preferred
1+ years of hands-on experience (academic, lab, or professional) with RKE2, or other Kubernetes distributions / orchestration platforms
GitOps practices, Argo CD, Helm, or other CI/CD tools
Basic scripting or programming experience in Python, Go, or Java (Spring Boot)
Exposure to common open-source technology stacks, including EFK (Elasticsearch, Fluentd, Kibana) for monitoring and logging
Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager for metrics and alerting
Nginx or APISIX for ingress and routing
SAML, Zitadel, or other OIDC-based authentication systems
PostgreSQL for relational database management
Kafka for distributed messaging
