Responsibilities
On-Site Diagnostics and Repairs: Travel to clients' locations to diagnose vehicle issues and perform necessary repairs, which may include oil changes, brake replacements, and engine repairs
Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition, including tire rotations and fluid checks
Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, providing detailed explanations of the vehicle's condition, required services, and cost estimates
Equipment Maintenance: Maintain the mobile mechanic's vehicle and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition and ready for use
Documentation: Keep accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions for future reference and billing purposes
Qualification
Required
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle types, including petrol, diesel, and hybrid engines
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently and effectively
Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and explain complex mechanical issues in layman's terms
Capability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting heavy equipment and working in various weather conditions
Valid CDL & Driver's License
A clean driving record and the ability to travel independently to various job sites
High school diploma or equivalent required
Vocational/technical school program or apprenticeship in auto repair or related field required
Preferred
Two years of related experience preferred
State inspection license / hydraulics
