Responsibilities
Engage with potential clients through outside sales efforts, including community events, networking, and telemarketing campaigns to generate leads and expand client base
Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand clients’ insurance requirements and recommend appropriate policies
Negotiate policy terms and pricing with clients, ensuring mutual satisfaction and long-term relationships
Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating client records, and maintaining accurate documentation
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that increase brand awareness and attract new customers
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, explaining policy details clearly, and assisting clients throughout the sales process
Stay informed about industry regulations, including HIPAA compliance when handling sensitive health information, to ensure ethical and legal standards are met
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities to effectively articulate product benefits and close deals
Familiarity with sales administration software, marketing strategies, and analysis skills for tracking performance metrics
Demonstrated ability to handle telemarketing campaigns professionally while maintaining compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA
Stay informed about industry regulations, including HIPAA compliance when handling sensitive health information, to ensure ethical and legal standards are met
Preferred
Knowledge of insurance sales processes, benefits administration, and customer service best practices
