Web Content Writer

Motion Recruitment is a leading financial institution seeking a Content Writer & SEO Specialist to join their Digital Marketing team remotely. In this role, you will support employer-focused products by researching, writing, and optimizing high-performing digital content.

Responsibilities

Conduct keyword research to identify and prioritize SEO-driven content opportunities
Write, edit, and optimize educational blog posts and website content focused on employer services and HR solutions (e.g., WOTC, ACA Reporting, I-9, Payroll Tax, Verification Fulfillment)
Apply SEO best practices to new and existing content to improve visibility, rankings, and performance
Track and analyze SEO performance metrics, providing data-driven recommendations for optimization
Leverage AI-assisted writing tools to accelerate content creation while ensuring final human review and quality control
Collaborate with product, compliance, and marketing teams to ensure content accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand voice
Participate in content audits and contribute to ongoing content calendar planning

Required

Mortgage writing experience
Proven experience as a content writer or SEO specialist in a B2B environment
Strong working knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs
Experience using AI writing platforms including ChatGPT, Jasper, or Surfer SEO
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of English
Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a contractor role

Preferred

Familiarity with HR, payroll, or compliance-related topics is a strong plus
