IT Support Services Specialist

Responsibilities

Providing second-level technical support for all incoming IT issues, troubleshooting and resolving complex problems with hardware, software, and peripherals
Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows and iOS devices, ensuring all systems and workstations operate efficiently
Provisioning hardware and software, supporting remote office locations, and diagnosing basic and intermediate technical problems
Assisting with and, when required, leading IT infrastructure improvement projects, ensuring that systems remain up-to-date and secure
Supporting and updating company software, troubleshooting issues, and implementing effective solutions
Collaborating with users at all levels of the organization to identify needs, deliver technology solutions, and enhance end-user experiences
Ensuring endpoint security protection is in place, with regular monitoring for vulnerabilities and maintenance of security systems
Developing and maintaining an inventory of all IT assets, documenting hardware failures, repairs, installations, and removals
Assisting in training and supporting the IT Support Services Team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment

Required

3-5 years of related experience
Valid Drivers License
General and business knowledge equivalent to an associate's degree
Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
Intermediate knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, SMTP
Basic knowledge of VDI troubleshooting and administration
Organizational and time management skills
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Intermediate level knowledge of Windows Server and desktop operating systems, hardware and related technologies
Technical diagnostic skills
Intermediate in Microsoft applications
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
Visually able to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading
Ability to sit for extended time periods
Sufficient manual skill for operation of PC keyboard and other standard office equipment
Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel
Ability to exert minimum amounts of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects
