Responsibilities
Provide professional, courteous, and efficient service to customers in-branch and over the phone
Promote bank products and services by identifying customer needs and making appropriate referrals
Resolve customer inquiries and account issues promptly and professionally
Open and maintain consumer deposit and savings accounts
Perform account maintenance, including debit card functions, stop payments, and wire transactions
Review and verify new accounts for accuracy and compliance
Process teller transactions accurately and efficiently
Balance cash drawer daily and maintain transaction logs
Identify and follow procedures for placing holds and verifying endorsements
Assist with training new Universal Bankers
Travel between branches as needed to support operations
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment with peers and leadership
Stay current on banking regulations and security practices
Recognize and respond to red flags such as fraud, scams, and phishing attempts
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
6 months to 1 year of banking experience (including cash handling and customer service)
Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in navigating multiple computer systems
Excellent customer service skills
Preferred
Associate's degree or equivalent experience
2 years of banking experience
