Responsibilities

Drive the Build vs. Buy Strategy: Evaluate emerging Legal AI vendors (e.g., Eudia, Harvey, Hebbia) against internal capabilities
Orchestrate the Unified Front Door: Own the roadmap for our orchestration layer (Tonkean) to centralize intake from Slack, Email, Jira
Partner with Legal Domains: Solve domain-specific challenges in IP, Privacy & Compliance, and Matter Management
Enable AI-Powered Innovation: Move beyond pilots to production for AI-assisted reviews and Knowledge Management Systems
Define shared data infrastructure requirements for real-time reporting and resource allocation
Understanding the User Journey: Map workflows and pain points across legal processes
Evaluation of Existing Tools: Assess current platforms and identify gaps
Experimentation & POCs: Assess legal tools and technologies for M&A, Knowledge Management, and compliance
Determine feasibility of in-house builds vs. third-party solutions
Domain within Legal Tech: Explore future AI and automation opportunities
Use Cases – Building the Case: M&A, Marketing Compliance, AI Redlining, Legal Knowledge Management
Ideation & Day 1 Readiness: Drive early-stage concepts into actionable plans
Executive Presence & Sense of Urgency: Communicate effectively with senior leadership and accelerate decision-making

Required

Experience in leading digital transformation initiatives within Legal, Compliance, and Policy organizations
Ability to evaluate emerging Legal AI vendors against internal capabilities
Experience in managing roadmaps for orchestration layers to centralize intake from various platforms
Ability to partner with legal domains to solve domain-specific challenges
Experience in enabling AI-powered innovations and moving beyond pilots to production
Ability to define shared data infrastructure requirements for real-time reporting and resource allocation
Experience in mapping workflows and identifying pain points across legal processes
Ability to assess current platforms and identify gaps in existing tools
Experience in experimentation and proof of concepts for legal tools and technologies
Ability to determine feasibility of in-house builds versus third-party solutions
Knowledge of future AI and automation opportunities within Legal Tech
Experience in building use cases for M&A, Marketing Compliance, AI Redlining, and Legal Knowledge Management
Ability to drive early-stage concepts into actionable plans
Strong communication skills to effectively engage with senior leadership
