Express Employment International is seeking a Network Architect to join their corporate office. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network solutions that align with business requirements, while providing technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to gather network requirements and assess existing infrastructures

Design and architect scalable and secure network solutions tailored to meet our business needs

Develop comprehensive network diagrams, documentation, and implementation plans

Configure and optimize Cisco, Meraki, F5, Palo Alto and other network equipment, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security

Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior network engineers and technicians

Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues in a timely manner

Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to recommend improvements and enhancements to existing network architectures

Perform network capacity planning and recommend hardware and software upgrades as necessary

Collaborate with vendors and partners to evaluate and recommend network solutions

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

10 - 15 years of hands-on experience in network design, implementation, and maintenance

Strong expertise in Cisco, F5, Meraki, Palo Alto, DNS/IPAM CheckPoint, Cradlepoint and Mitel Equipment or other VOIP solutions

In-depth knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, DNS, and other network technologies

Proficiency in network scripting, automation, monitoring and management tools

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team

Preferred

Graduate degree preferred

Preferably holds a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification
