This role involves evaluating and diagnosing autism and other developmental disorders, directly impacting children’s lives by helping families access the necessary care and support.

Responsibilities
Conduct Comprehensive Evaluations: Utilize standardized tools like ADOS-2, Vineland-3, and others to assess children suspected of having autism. (Don’t worry—we’ll provide training if needed.)
Deliver Clear Insights: Write detailed diagnostic reports that guide families and our clinical team
Flexibility in Your Day: Assessments and report writing can be done remotely when appropriate
Qualification
Required
A completed Doctorate in clinical, counseling, or school psychology and full licensure as a Licensed Psychologist in NC
Expertise in psychological assessments for children, with a strong focus on evaluating autism and developmental differences
A solid understanding of developmental disorders and related differential diagnoses
Outstanding written communication skills with an eye for detail
A natural ability to connect with children and families, helping them feel at ease throughout the process
Preferred
Bilingual in Spanish
