Responsibilities

Development of antenna or radome hardware and requirements
Working with interdisciplinary engineering teams including thermal, structural, mechanical, systems, etc
Working with antenna manufacturing suppliers
Antenna modeling and simulation execution on workstations and high performance computing resources (HPC)
Interpret simulation or measurement test data to verify performance to requirements

Required

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major
Experience and/or coursework in programming and/or simulation experience in MATLAB, SIMULINK, C/C++, or equivalent language
Experience and/or coursework with the following: Communication theory, RF and electromagnetic theory
Proficiency with modeling & simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, FEKO, SENTRi and/or GRASP
This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
DoD Clearance: Secret

Preferred

ABET is the preferred, although not required accreditation standard
3.0 cumulative GPA desired
Solid background and practical understanding of designing GPS antenna systems (to include experience or relevant course work)
Model generation and simulation experience with conformal antennas (to include experience or relevant course work)
Proficiency with Python, MATLAB and/or other high level scientific programming languages
