Andaz Miami Beach is a luxury lifestyle hotel that is looking for Front Desk Hosts to join their team. The role involves guest registration, communication of hotel services, and ensuring a memorable guest experience through excellent service.

Hospitality

Responsibilities

Greeting and thanking guests as per Forbes standards
Perform all guest check-in and checkout procedures; which includes obtaining or confirming guest information, assigning rooms, activate and distribute keys, etc
Posting charges to appropriate guest accounts and collect payment for room charges and other fees
Make and confirm reservations for guests
Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate personnel
Anticipating and addressing guests' needs, and resolving their problems and complaints
Collaborating and communicating with other internal departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Following all established SOPs and using approved Checklists
Up Selling guest rooms and promoting World of Hyatt (WOH) and other hotel services
Complete various additional tasks and assignments as needed

Required

A minimum of a Diploma in Hospitality/ Tourism Management or a relevant field
Good working knowledge of Reserve/Opera software
Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Suite applications
Refined verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule; weekends, holidays, overnight shifts
Physically agile, ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Well-groomed, professional appearance

Preferred

Ability to speak a second Language fluently will be considered an asset
